Who we are

This website is run by Hawke Eye Electrical. For anything about your personal information, email [email protected].

What we collect

When you send a quote request we collect the details you give us:

• your name, email address and postcode
• your phone number, if you choose to give it
• the type of property, the service you need and your description of the job

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and this website does not set any cookies of its own.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, give you a quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and certify the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We will never sell your details or use them for marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry passes through a small number of services that help us run the website and receive email:

• Cloudflare - hosts this website and processes the form submission
• Resend - delivers the form submission to our inbox
• Google - provides our email inbox

If the work needs to be notified under the Building Regulations, the relevant details are shared with NAPIT and your local authority, as the law requires.

How long we keep it

If an enquiry does not lead to any work, we delete it within 12 months. If we carry out work for you, we keep the related records for as long as needed for certification, warranty and tax purposes, normally six years.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
